A Decree

Upon seeing The Dark Knight for the sixth or seventh time since Opening Midnight (albeit first time on IMAX), I decree the following:

The Dark Knight shall replace all modern philosophical criticism.
Written philosophical criticism shall end, effective immediately, as it is now obsolete.
Future philosophical criticism shall be handled by big-budget action films.
Also, the Coen Brothers shall be allowed to do it, regardless of budget or genre.
